Executive Ghostwriting Services for Finance and Technology Leaders
Your expertise, distilled. Your authority, demonstrated. Your voice, brought to life.
Executive ghostwriting is the practice of putting a leader's thinking into print — articles, speeches, letters, and posts that carry your name and your judgment, written by someone whose only job is to get them right. You supply the ideas and the standard. We supply the hours, the craft, and the discipline to meet it.
Elegant Ink writes for C-suite executives, founders, and investors from Wall Street to Silicon Valley: people whose words move capital, markets, and careers, and who cannot afford for those words to be careless.

Every piece below is written to be read once and remembered — which, for a busy reader, is the only kind of writing worth publishing.
Bylined Articles and Op-Eds
Opinion pieces and long-form commentary for business and trade publications. We find the argument only you can make, build it so it holds, and write it so an editor says yes.
Executive Social and Newsletters
LinkedIn posts, threads, and leadership newsletters that sound like you on your best day. Consistent enough to build an audience; considered enough to keep it.
Speeches, Keynotes, and Panel Remarks
Written to be spoken. We structure a talk around the two or three things you need remembered, then give it the cadence to be heard.
Letters and Internal Communications
Shareholder letters, all-hands messages, board memos, and founder updates — the writing that sets the tone inside a firm and, eventually, outside it.
Books and Long Projects
For leaders with more to say than an article can hold. Scoped and priced separately; we will tell you frankly whether the idea wants a book or a series of essays.

The process is designed around a calendar that has no room for it.
1. The briefing. A focused conversation, typically an hour. We ask what you are seeing, what you believe, and who needs to hear it. Most clients find this the easiest part; they have been thinking about it for years.
2. The draft. Robert writes. Not a template, not a transcript with the pauses removed — a piece built from your argument, in your register, grounded in the context your readers already have.
3. The review. You read it and mark what is not quite you. We revise until it is. This step is where the voice gets learned, and it gets faster with every piece.
4. Publication. The finished work arrives formatted for its destination — an editor's inbox, a platform, a podium — with nothing left for you to do but approve it.

Automated writing tools are fast, and their output is unmistakable. For a leader, that is the problem: the value of a bylined piece rests on the reader believing it reflects your judgment. Generic prose, however fluent, signals that it does not.
A ghostwriter earns the byline differently — by listening, by knowing your industry well enough to argue with you, and by treating every word as if it mattered. We believe it does. Complex ideas demand elegant messaging, and elegance is a matter of choices no template can make.

Ghostwriting works only if no one can tell. We never disclose whose voice we have written, cite unreleased work, or acknowledge an engagement without permission. A mutual NDA is available before any work begins, and most clients ask for one.

Elegant Ink serves clients across the New York City and Bay Area corridors and internationally, working remotely by default. In-person sessions are available by arrangement. Leaders in Manhattan may also want to read about our executive ghostwriting in New York City.
Frequently Asked Questions.
-
Roughly an hour of conversation per piece or per month, depending on the engagement, plus the time to read and approve a draft. Everything else is ours.
-
By the second or third piece, yes — and clients often say the first draft was closer than they expected.
The briefing is designed to capture how you argue, not just what you think. -
We use technology where it serves the work, and never as a substitute for judgment, research, or voice.
Every draft is written and edited by Robert.

Most clients work on a monthly retainer covering a set cadence of pieces. Individual projects — a keynote, a shareholder letter, a book — are scoped and quoted separately.
Custom arrangements are welcome.
